New TFT playing up, HELP!

Hi folks,

I recently took delivery of a new LG 1980Q TFT having read many good review of it. When i turned it on i was a little shocked to find that there was significant bleeding around the edges of the screen, especially along the bottom edge. I can also not manage to adjust it to an image that i am happy with; after 3 hours of trying! This is my first LCD screen so i don't know much about them. Is this a common fault (if indeed it is a fault) and should i send it back or have i just bought a crappy screen?

Sounds like you should RMA it and get a replacement/ refund. Thats quite rare to happen tbh, just unlucky i guess.

Yup I've had the screen for over a year now, and it's been brilliant. Just RMA it and you should get a quick turn around with another brand new (hopefully) fault free one!
