    How can they call that a MAX?

    It only really has 3 slots for all intents and purposes

    Need more boards with 3-4 PCI-E 8x or 16x, plus at least 2 PCI.....

    I fail to see the point in adding these 1x PCI-E slots.....waste of space.

    a lot of other people do have high hopes, though - the existing AW8D is a superb board.

    The MAX product line historically has no legacy connectors & is about max performance/overclocking rather than being feature filled.

    I'm in two minds whether to get the AW9D or Asus P5B Deluxe. Leaning towards the Asus given the really positive reaction to the new 0614 BIOS... choices choices hehe
