    XFX Revo 64, still worth buying?

    Seems like XFX/Scan is dumping these cards away? 35 quids for a 5 port hardware raid card is pretty insane when these cost over 200 dollars when they first came out.

    Tempted to get one, but is there any drawback?

    There are a number of stories about lost data and no support. Apparently the company that designed the cards has gone bust, and no body knows how to fix isssues.

    Also, if you don't have a PCI-X port (PCI-X is NOT the same as PCI-E) your data transfers will be quite limited.

    If you need 5 SATA ports quick then yeah, If you need anything important, or blistering speed, then no.
