Next years Quads are going to all be on 65nm dies and I don't think AMD will make up the difference on that. And towards the end of 07', Intels quads on 45nm will be released and then it's back to the closet for AMD. There will be a see-saw battle between the two companies but it seem that Intel will just be the first to introduce 45nm and the 32nm(which is due out early 2009). AMD is basically playing catch up. Intel's 45nm Perlyn core is rumored to have a 12mb cache and 2 share FSB. (2 X 1333FSB). They first EE is to be released at 3.7ghz, with on board memory controllers and 29 dergees at full load........ Now that is alot for AMD to deal with. But I do hope AMD comes out swinging so I can't get a great deal them. All of this is over kill anyway but "I just love making sure things thatare dead, stay dead!"
I can't understand why those of us who know the least, think of themselves to know the most!
