Are there e-tailers showing or giving the exact week and stepping for conroe E6600..

From reading various forums it seems certain batches are better overclockers. I was just wondering if you have bought from an online shop knowing the exact week of the chip. It doesn't have to be on the page it could be through calling them etc. Thanks for the help.

its doubtful, they would be left with all the duffers if they did that.

But I doubt a lot of people do this. I mean I would imagine 20% at most.

It would require formidable inventory management to be able to guarantee the week they have when you phone would be the week you'd receive. Any efficient retailer will have these coming in and out all the time, and each batch would be different.

It would add a lot of overheads to the inventory and picking system to do that, not to mention having a high chance of destroying the large volume flow that enables etailers to give such good prices.
