Hi!
Can anyone recommend an nForce2 mobo for around £60?
Atm, i'm torn between the Abit NF7 (non S) and the Soltek SL-75FRN2-L (Golden Flame).
Any thoughts?
Cheers

Pay the extra and buy the NF7-S ;) They can be had for around £75 ish. The extra features are well worth it
Wow, answer within 2mins :D
The main problem I have with the NF7-S (read : parting with the extra cash) is that this is for a system that will not be overclocked. Then again, it wont be upgraded anytime soon so....
Just pay the extra money :D
Seriously, it's worth it. Serial ATA controller for an extra £15... bargain and future proofing :D
Grrrrrr.......thx for helping me part with my cash lol :D
1 Abit Nf7-S on its way to me :D
Thx for the help XTR and Shorty!
It's so stable, you will love it :D
The motherboard is the heart of your rig, never scrimp on it ..
And firewire, and Soundstorm, and a SATA -> PATA converter, and SATA RAID, Well worth the extra £15 :DQuote:

Id call it a bit more than that ! :D
Just bought an MSI K7N2 Delta-L SKT A 8xAGP DDR400 Nforce2 6ch Sound LAN USB 2.0 Motherboard for under £50.
Good and stable overclocker.
I thought the PSU was the heart of your system and not to skimp on it ... Or was that the CPU ... The RAM ... :D
