I want to ask do you need to return the product for RMA or they just send you a new one?

Well in my case I told them the details of the mouse, which can be found on the sticker.
Then they said ok, whats your problem, explained it to them.
Then they said they will send me out a new one, with instructions on how to return the old one (A courier will pick it up).
They claimed it was for investigation lol.

I had some speakers a while back. Logitech z500 i think?? anyway the sub decided to die one day, this was like at least 2 years of having the things. Called up logitech on the off chance they would help me out. They just said cut the wires on the old speakers, send them in and we will send you new ones.
Low and behold two days later i got the new speakers and even a better model. Love logitech.
took about 10 working days to the UK from when I remember, but that was after I phoned em up and they had forgotten to send my new keyboard!

I'm still waiting for Logitech to come pick up my old G15, and until that day I wont use the new one.
My MX1000 needs to go back as it wont charge properly, have to rest it on something to get it at the right angle for it to charge, and if it falls off 5 seconds after I go to sleep I wake up with a dead mouse.

Logitech are usually very good,
EMEA, is just the region: Europe, Middle East and Africa. Normal is just well, normal.
If you have the new one, then open it up and use it. if they wanted the old one back badly you'd know about it

Just forget about it and use it, as soon as logitech replaced it, they agreed the condition of your old keyboard was bad enough for an RMA and I think all the paint problems were resolved anyway.
