Can anyone spec a good PC for £400 (as title)?
I did a lot of research when s939 was the daddy in terms of price and performance but now I'm in limbo with AM2 and Intel's new offering recently appearing
For £400, I'll need a base unit with a semi-decent graphics card (HDTV output) and quietness would be a bonus
I quite like the look of Gigabyte's Aurora case and the Tagan 430 EasyCon for starters - I'm leaning towards ATI for graphics and a solid motherboard (Asus or Abit) - I'm lost when it comes to DDR2!
Since I know a little about the slightly older Athlon 64s, I was inclined to build an AM2 system but I see that many people are raving about the performance of the Core2Duos
Thanks for any ideas...
