    MX1000 slow response

Currently using the mouse in question, and it does have a delayed response both on desktop and css. It seema as if the reaction is a bit behind the actual movement of the mouse. I reinstalled the drivers but to no avail. It is very obvious and very annoying. My bro merlin4458 is using the G5 and its stupidly quick and responsive.
I know alot of you guys use the mx1000 and love it so it makes me think theres something wrong

    Any help guys

It's probably a long shot but try using a cotton bud to clean inside the laser bit below the mouse.

I've found Logitech wireless mice to be quite fussy over reception. Make sure your receiver is clear of any metal obstructions which may block or reflect the signal.

Sounds like a fault, got an MX1000 next to me, not the slightest bit of lag. Like suggested try cleaing the laser lens. Not sure about signal reception, my reciever has often spent time down the back of my desk.

Sounds obvious but make sure your mouse speed aint set to low, also just try changing it and hitting apply incase the value in the registry somehow got borked. Rare but it's happened to me.

I've not bought one yet because I've read a lot of reviews about it having lag (specifically with an MX5000 keyboard bundle). Is it the bluetooth version?

MX1000 will have a tad lag when its been sitting in one position for a long time.. the laser takes abit of time to fire up again after going into power saving mode i think..

but I tend to move my mouse around often and the response is just as good as my Razor or Mamba..

Having said that MX1000 is possibly a very bad mouse for sniper in CS.. the lag it does when ur waiting for something to appear on the crosshair is sometimes very annoying..
    Me want Ultrabook

Well, I do notice a small lag (roughtly 50~75ms) but that usually doesn't affect gameplay much with game ping about the same.

Not really a problem for me
