    Shuttle PSU question.

Can shuttle's 350W Psu really support an x1900XTX (which needs 450watts)? I've got a SN25P and a 1900xtx, and i can't get it to boot. everything spins and stuff, but no image.

i called shuttle, they say it should work.

i called ATi, they say it doesn't work b/c of the 350W Psu.

I see other people here with a 1900xtx, and their's seems to be working.

So what could the problem be? could it be my 6Pin=2 6Pin adapter/splitter? Do i need a 4pin=>6Pin adapter? Please help.

You're splitter can't be the problem since the only thing it does is providing the right connection. One thing you could try is to put in a low-end graphics card and see if it will boot that way. If it doesn't: you're Shuttle has a hardware problem. If it does: the power supply isn't strong enough.

If the latter applies, I'd recommend you to swap your X1900 XTX for a 7900GTX or 7950 GT from which power consumption is quite a bit lower.
Careful what you wish for, you might receive it...
