    MX1000 charger just died.

Last night I put the MX1000 on the charger stand and I heard a little "pop" and then the mouse went out (no charging light).

This morning the Mouse works (turned it on and off) but now the charger dont work.

    What shall i do?

    Thanks.

Logitech support is awesome - they usually don't even ask for you to send back the faulty part. They sent me out a new charger for my MX700 when I thought it was going wrong. If you use the online support they're not particularly fast, but it's better than most in that they actually respond and the problem is nearly always dealt with.

Sorry to jump on this thread, but does someone have an email adress for Logitech UK support/customer services? (can't for the life of me find one on their website!)

    Thanks,
    W.

Yep, Logitech are about the best CS dept I've ever used, my old MX700 had the left mouse button die on me (the microswitch broke), I contacted CS they asked me to send in the battery cover and the end of the charger plug, and they send me a whole new unit out (full new retail box!)

    I was pretty stoked

Mine blew ages months ago, opened it up and it had melted. I just bought a universal charger, its not a perfect fit though. Might contact logitech to get it sorted.

    Well, just to update-

Hats off to logitech. Got the replacement a few days ago and it was a full retail box!

It was a different colour'ish one but I'm well pleased.

I still have to send back the old one though!

    Thanks.
