    Scythe Infinity return?

Not sure if this is in the right forum, but anyways.

Just received a Scythe Infinity from OcUK but unfortunately it does not fit my wavemaster case, even though they assured me it would

This now leaves me with the option of returning it to OcUK for a refund and purchase of something that will fit (thinking thermaltake big typhoon at the moment, suggestions welcome), or i can attempt to sell it on ebay.

Having read the horror stories of people returning stuff to OCuk what would people recommend.

I guess the ideal solution would be if someone had an unused Big Typhoon to swap, but I won't hold my breath!

if you have the documentation that they assured you it would fit inside the case, then theres nothing they can really do to deny you a refund, its trades description isn't it?

There are also 7 day distance selling regulations. If you've had it less than a week, then they pretty much have to accept a refund or replacement, unless you've damaged it in some way or smeared thermal paste all over it.

Don't think tey are obligated to pay for the postage to send it back to them though.

Yep, the 7-day selling act as long as everything is in good condition they will accept it.

Maybe its worth selling or as you said (trading) it.

I had a ATC-201 which was the same as a Wavemaster. The Zalman 9500 fits perfectly but none of the Tower coolers fit Im afraid. (If you want to slide the Mboard out.) The scythe ninja is a very very tight fit if I recall.

I might be interested in swapping my Zalman 9500 for the Infinity if that suits you at all.

    Thanks.
