    whats winbond? :)

Prob a really obvious newbie q, but still! Saw it on some Twinmos RAM on komplett. I bought the RAM off the tekheads thing a few weeks back and wanted to find a matching 256MB chip! Any ideas? Link especially useful...

Winbond are a RAM module maunfacturer.

They make modules which Corsair, Kingston, TwinMos, OCZ and others slap on their pcbs and sell as they're own.

Gnerally highly regarded in the overclocking circle, especially those coded BH5.

The new Chips with CH5 are filtering into the market too, these are being seen on a few modules, including twinmos.

Can't you go back to Tekheads to get another stick of memory?.

Winbond are more than a RAM maker. They make ASICs, Flash, Super I/O, Comms IC, and speach IC....

    Just FYI ;-)
