Need help in choosing motherboard

Hi

Need help here iam between two motherboards which will both be used for gaming can somebody tell me if this motherboard P5WDG2-WS is good for gaming ive been hearing from some that is good from others that its not.Here is a link : http://uk.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=...94&modelmenu=1

Also could you give me your opinions on this motherboard ASUS P5W64 WS Professional?
Basicaly id like to know if this will be a good motherboard for gaming

PS :If it helps i will have 1Gb of ram,and the 1Gb XFX 7950GX2, PCI-E (x16), Extreme, Mem 1300 MHz, GPU 520 MHz, 48 Pipes, S-Video/2xDVI-I as a graphics card for my system.

Go for the Asus P5B Deluxe over those two. Cheaper and just as good IMO (you will also want to upgrade to 2GB of RAM when the prices come down)

BTW you might want to keep all related questions to one thread rather than opening another one asking the same question

Either would a good choice if you need the features. The Abit AW9D also looks a good choice for the enthusiast - plus a little cheaper than the Asus. However, as mentioned before the Asus P5B Deluxw i965 board is a good choice.

Look carefully at the features and ask yourself which of them matter. Most people don't use half of the features the high end mobos offer.

FWIW I think if you want to game, same some money by getting a cheaper motherboard (DS3?) and get another stick of RAM.
Your system will perform much better in most games with the extra memory and your system will be better balanced.
As someone else said most of the fancy mb features are superfluous anyway.
