    • htid's system
      • Motherboard:
      • Asus P5B
      • CPU:
      • C2D E6600 @ 3ghz
      • Memory:
      • 2gb Corsair XMS2
      • Storage:
      • 180gb Spinpoint
      • Graphics card(s):
      • XFX 7900GTX
      • PSU:
      • 500W Seasonic S12
      • Case:
      • Akasa Mirage
      • Monitor(s):
      • 18" Dell
    I'd say mobo and graphics card great. Although from what i remember the 7950GX2 doesn't work well with duel monitors.

    Case..if you don't care about looks then Akasa Mirage may be a better option, best cooling as far as i'm aware.

    PSU I don't know much about PSUs but when i was asking about what to get people said the Seasonic S12 or new M12 when it comes out, are best, quietest too.

    Fans, good choice, i'll be getting those as well.

    I'd give it a 7 out of 10.

    You really should consider getting 2gb of ram, 1gb wont cut it for much longer when vista arrives and 1gb isnt enough for new games. Im not sure about the xclio psu, never heard much about them. For the money id be tempted to get a tagan, enermax or something along those lines. Also the P4 3Ghz isnt up there with the best anymore.

    On the other hand the stacker is an excellent case (I have one ) and the mobo you ordered is top notch. Add some water cooling and you'd be scoring higher too

    Probably 8 out of 10, assuming you got a decent overclock on the c2d.

    9 out of 10 for adding watercooling and may be quad sli

    10 out of 10 for quad sli, c2d x6800, watercooled with some unique mods etc

    Sounds good. Enjoy your new stuff.

    Thats just my opinion, people might rate your system differently depending on their PC knowledge and hardware. You need a few more peoples input really

    Only a few things like s kinton said 2Gb of RAM would be ideal and also a differnet processor. Core2Duo would be better and overclocking it.
