Right, superglue, brute force, and a small furry animal are running around in my PC... I'll put the side of the case back on, give it a few hours, and then see what's happened.

That is what you all suggested, right?

I've got some of those molegrips, shall take to it with gusto (that's the name of the mole)

Sawyen, which of the above methods worked for you here?! Just got a X1950 Pro, I was about to swap the stock cooler for a VF-700cu until the dreaded 4 small screws struck Got one of them out but the other 3 just wont budge and, like you, I've more or less ruined the head on each. Close to hurling this at the wall, but thought I'd post here for help How did you manage it in the end?
