Stick with the P5B Deluxe as Asus are pulling off some clever and impressive stuff with their new BIOS releases.

See here for more info: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...=116602&page=2

Also that G.Skill RAM is not the best quality, just average, unlike the HZ sticks (in case you weren't sure)

BTW forgot to say that Scan have a cheaper alternative 7900GS with the same specs as the one you listed for just £116.31: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=470913

And you also don't need the Arctic Silver 5. The MX-1 that comes already applied on the Freezer 7 Pro is better than it. You can also get good DVI cables from eBay for about £3 all in.

New Scan total with P5B Deluxe, cheaper 7900GS, AS5 & DVI cable removed and free Hexus delivery:

    £470.46

Something tells me plasmaworldltd not going to last long on hexus...

Dam u Listy2021 every time i think i am sure about my specs u change it all

I have seen the Palit 7900GS before, cheap but somehow scary. I was actually buying the 256 Sapphire X1900 GT but scan stock finished and other shops only have the downgraded version

The mobo is my weak spot I really don’t know what model to get, asus always served me well but the gigabyte DQ6 looks great and supports the incoming Quadcore.

I know the ram is standard but i had to save some 2GBb standard ram should be better than 1GB performance ram.

I was in exactly the same position ref: motherboard, FWIW my research suggested that the P5B Deluxe is a better quality product than the DQ6.

Wouldn't worry too much about the RAM, it'll probably o/c or possibly even run at tighter timings.

    Regards

    Chnks
