    Question What S754 PCI-E SLI mobo and What PCI-E card?

    as name states really.i've just got a k8v but was only 30quid so not too bothered... want a new card and agp is a ripoff for a decent card so its cheaper for new mobo and gfx card so what mobo and what card.would like nforce if possible... oh and second hand/refurb or brand new i dont care i saw some have onboard vga aswell:S WHY lol if its got pci-e anyway? i guess its for people in the process of upgrading from AGP... anyway what mobo and what card from where? im in the UK!will be wanting to order friday 6th Oct...

    As far as i'm aware, there are no S754 motherboards which have SLI. S754 was treated as the 'budget' line for quite some time, so the top end chipsets were never released on the socket.

    If you could give an idea of your budget, and what you hope to achieve with the system, i'm sure some would be happy to advise you on your options .

    well your wrong then speedo.because their are quite a few.its not budget either.200quid budget.

    the EPoX SLI only has 2 ddr slots:'( i have 3 ddr sticks. 1.5 over 1gb surely?what other board?

    Go for the epox as buff said its a better chipset and supports sli just buy two 1 GB sticks.

    Or this could be a good time for a total upgrade and go AM2 dual core.
