Widely considered to be one of the best Core2Duo boards, especially when overclocking is concerned.

The PB5 deluxe is a great board (buying one myself) but nothing in electronics is future proof

I would stick with that board just because its Asus, but u can have a look at gigabyte DQ6 similar price and quadcore ready.

it doesnt do SLI or crossfire, but for any forseeable single pci-e cards, it should be ok.
