I've finally had enough of my existing system. It used to be top spec but is now 7 years old, way past retirement. The budget is fairly tight at £600 but doesn't need any peripherals.
The build I'm looking at should give me some opportunity for upgrading later as cashflow allows.
What I'm looking at so far is as follows :
Aside from a shed load of cables and odds, the only thing I can see that is missing is a DVD Drive but that will be an LG Burner coming out of the old system.Code:CPU 153.76 Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 775, 2.13 GHz Mobo 96.63 Gigabyte GA 965P-DS3 iP965 PSU 35.12 435W HiperPower HPU-4S435 GPU 93.99 256MB Palit 7600GT Sonic HDD 54.12 250 Gb Seagate ST3250620AS Barracuda 7200.9 Memory 98.28 1Gb (2X512Mb) Corsair TwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC6400 (800) Case 44.64 Coolermaster Cavalier 3 Black Tower Case w/o PSU CPU Fan 17.57 Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Total 594.26
Can anybody see any problems here ? Or any suggestions would be welcome.
The prices are from Scan and, as usual, are pretty competitive![]()
