Hi Guys,
I'm thinking of flogging my PC, as I've got some major exams coming up...I won't be able to use it for 2 months at least, and I could do with a new laptop that has more than 10 mins battery life and doesn't take 11 mins to load windows .
This is the model of the card in question:
http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.p...t=Scan+7800GTX
Using Nvidia's display control panel, and setting it to AutoDetect, I know for a fact that it will clock to 490/1300, I haven't tried higher than that (I'm not an overclocker by any means...I prefer to buy good quality stuff and run them at stock for their lifetime) although I know some people have managed much higher clocks with this particular card.
I bought the card mainly because of the stock cooler...it's damn quiet, and very effective...the card idles at 32C and the highest I've ever seen it peak under load is 50C.
It's been used fairly lightly for a month or two now....now that I've got no games to play...the most stress that it handles is my crazy windows desktop picture .
I'm looking for a rough guide on what I should expect to get for this card....
Cheers guys...appreciate it
