To be honest Scan (http://www.scan.co.uk) was the cheapest place for 90% of the parts of my recent Core2Duo system.
Other good places are YoYoTech and MicroDirect (I've heard bad things about MD's customer services though).

Scan is probably best for cpu & mobo like abeacock says. They tend to undercut most of the competition. I have found though that memory is a different matter, they have a very limited choice. OCUK Memory has a wider choice though is more expensive than Memory Configurator who tend to stock the OC memory talked about in the forums.

I just got a HIS X1900XT 512mb from OCUk on 1 of their this week only offer great bang/£.

    ps
MicroDirect (I've heard bad things about MD's customer services though).
    Have also heard similar things.

    luck

Two good quality Core2Duo motherboards are the Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 (which I have and is wonderful) and the Asus P5W DH. Both cost around £100 - the Asus is a little more expensive I think. You could then get at least 1GB of RAM with your remaining cash.

Or you could go for a cheaper board such as one of the ASRock ones although they have limited options for overclocking but can be bought for less than £100.

As for ram, you need DDR2 but don't worry about buying low latency ram, Athlons benefit from that but Core2Duos don't really care.

A 7600GS would be a suitable swap (~£70 at Scan) for your gfx card but I have no idea if you can get all these components for ~£200.

Just check on the web for reviews and comments that indicate that your CPU will work in these boards, I was very confused when I first started looking into Core2Duos about which boards worked with what chips!

Good luck and let us know what you put on your shopping list before you order so we can help you make sure it's the biggest bang for your buck.
