    Will it still work?

I recently bought a Yate loon for cheap, and I snipped off the Molex connector bit.

I just took out the 3pin bit, and snipped it right at the ends, so its clean.

Now it just looks like a normal 3pin fan, as I had not need for the molex.

My question, will the fan run fine? I dont want to destroy my PC!

yep if you removed the metal prongs to snip so theres no exposed wire coming out the plug then your quite safe

Agreed, just put a bit of insulating tape around the cut wires, so you don't get any short circuits and you'll be fine
