    Question What RAM???

I have currently bought a new xpc Shuttle and I am looking to buy some DDR2 RAM for it, but what type?
I have £165 to spend on the new RAM, and here are two I am looking at……..

    G.Skill 2GB DDR2 NR PC2-6400 (2x1GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit

    - Package : 2048MB kit (2x1GB) dual channel pack
    - CAS Latency : 5-5-5-5-15 (PC2-6400)
    - Test Voltage : 1.9-2.0 V
    - Speed : DDR2 800MHz (PC2-6400)
    - Type : 240-pin DDR2
    - Error Checking : Non-ECC
    - Registered/Unbuffered : Unbuffered
    - Quality Control : Comprehensive rigorously tested in pair at dual channel environment
    - Warranty : Lifetime

    Or

    GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC5300 667MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit

    - PC5300 667MHz CAS 4-4-4
    - 64x8 DDR2 FBGA Chips
    - 240pin, Non-ECC, Un-buffered DDR2 SDRAM DIMM
    - Aluminium Heat-spreader
    - 6 Layers Ultra Low Noises Shielded PCB
    - Lifetime Warranty
    - 1.8V-2.1V Power Supply

I will be grateful for any replies on which to choose.
Or if there is any better RAM to choose from? for under £165.

    Thanks

G.Skill is a good brand and you'll be pushed to find cheaper RAM.

Depends if you plan on overclocking... and whether it's for an AM2 or S775 setup?

get the g.skill 6400 HZ's, they have micron d9 chips on them, and should be good for around 1000Mhz 4-4-4-x @ 2.2-2.3 ish

Now just find some in your price range, mine were around 175 from kustom a couple of weeks ago, everywhere else was charging 200+ for these, though kustom have now put their price up to 200 too. They are a little over your budget, but they use the same chips as the £250-300ish memory. there may still be somewhere out there...

Nox what do you think of the following RAM....?
    Kingston
    2048MB 750MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL4 (4-4-4-12) DIMM (Kit of 2)
    £142

Is this good value for money or do you think i should go with G skill?

And can anyone reccomend good sites to buy memory from? (i looked at kustom but they didnt have much to choose from?
