The Dell Inspiron 510m Would be pretty good. It's centrino so no worries with battery life

I have no shame. Oh yeah - the laptop is basically the NC8430, so its business class quality.
Dell Inspiron 6400 with decent specs? - Mine was £940 after upgrades - Core Duo 2ghz, 2gb RAM, x1300, 80gb Hdd & 1680x1050 screen - oh and the 9 cell battery for longer use on the move
