Thats the one i'm getting...whenever thecooling shop has it back in stock.
As long as there is at least a little air blowing over the heatsink, it should do it's job fine. Northbridges don't put out that much heat, if I'm not wrong, so if the poo little abit heatsink can do the job - I'm sure the Zalman one would be plenty good enough.
It'd get rid of the awful whirring of the nb fan, too. Go for it
been waiting for it! damn cheap!Originally posted by Sibu

i was considering the microcool pete north.. err i mean northpole.. but i think it's overkill.. plus it cost a bomb!
a lot of ppl said that the NB don't produce that much heat.. so i think im going for the zalman..
I tried one on my K7N2-ILSR Delta - the NB temps rose by about 3 degrees - so I put it on my SB - it works a treat there!
Wise old man won't you help me please? My house is a squash and a squeeze.

ok how loud is the vantec iceberq 4 pro ?
I've had one for a while on a IC7 (canterwood) I run a 267fsb and the cooler does a great job of keeping things stable.
My apologies - this seems to be an update of the one that I have - ignore my previous post, it refers to the ZM-NB32J shown here ZM-NB32J
