Question Dose the Make realy matter with 3D cards?

As i am building a new shuttle, I am looking to invest in a new PCI-E 3D card but its been some time sine i looked at 3D cards and not sure what to get...

Have asked mates and for my price range of £200-£300 mark, so I’ve decided to get
the GeForce 7900 GTX 512MB but one thing i would like to know is....

Is there much difference between buying a websites own branded GeForce 7900 GTX like from Novtech or Overclockers
or does it pay for the make like Gainward, BFG, Asus? Reason i ask this is that there is like £40 difference I’ve noticed?

If it does make a big difference then what brand would the people recomened

    Is Gainward any good?

Thanks 4 your time and Posts

Some Partners have better support systems, and some (like BFG) pre-overclock the card. There is also a difference in what limitations are put on the warrenties

Well the hardware is often the same (believe it or not overclock dont have their own factory) they are made by larger companies, often foxconn. However the support, warranty, bundle, cooler and pre overclocking are all issues to be considered.

Dabsvalue cards.. strangly enough available from dabs use inno3D cards. and dont even hide the fact really. some nice bargains in there tho

the only times id bother which card i got was
    1. if i wanted vivo
    2. if i wanted a better or silent cooler

for general usage just grab the cheapest there mostly all just based on reference the reference cards with a differenct sticker on the cooler anyhow

With the exception of a few VIVO versions, all 7900GT & GTX cards were made by the same factory. Only difference is warranty / support as noted above. I'd guess the same is true for other nVidia / ATi cards too.

Evga does offer a step up programe within 3months of purchase to a newer/higher spec card. They also offer lifetime guarantee, which is a good bonus.

Novatech (and probably others) sell whatever brand will supply them the cheapest cards as 'novatech branded'. Last time I asked, they were selling MSI with the game 7900GT's, but that was months ago. Usually it is some lesser known brand though with poorer warranty.

I think im going to go with
    Gainward Bliss 7900GTX PCX 512MB PCI-E
    But have just seen
    Gainward "GF" Bliss 7900GTX PCX 512MB PCI-E

Can any one tell me if there is any difference having GF Bliss or just Bliss because i cant see it?

    Thanks

The 'GF' stands for GeForce, which is simply nvidia's name for its cards. So no difference, but post links.
