My new 1337 computer - with pics

A big thanks to the people who helped me with the setup on the hexus forums. Its been up and running fantasticly for about a month now, and i finaly have pics!

CPU - Intel dual core conroe x6800 extreme
GPU - Radeon x1800 XL
Sound card - Sound blaster X-FI fatality
PSU - 600w
RAM - 2x 1GB 8500 corsir
Cooling - Aqua computer water cooling with ram,cpu,gpu blocks
Case - Lian li
Monitors - Two 24" widescreen TFT dual monitors

Argh I always post in the wrong area heh, maybe a mod can move it for me. About the wires, there is seriously no where else to put them lol, but i know what ya mean. I figure since its watercooled, wouldn't be much of a problem.

Great system, but I have to agree on the cables, however it looks like nothing a few cable ties wouldnt sort out.

I don't see how cable ties can help on my system as you can see, the majority of the wires is all one cable from the psu with lots of power sockets on it. Although i'm sure i could use some cable ties for the SATA, but the power cables are more or less already tied as much as they can go :-)

Well the GPU is from my old PC, i thought it would be a bit silly to buy a new x1950 which is only 15% better than the x1800 I hear... And its not even direct X10 stable right? Wouldn't it be better to wait a few months when the DX10 gpus come out for vista than waste £300 for a 3 month graphics card?

lol why is it so important for enthusiasts to have perfect wires? Airflow isn't very important for my setup. It would be extremily hard to clean up the wires more than they are already - I did try They just arent long enough to be tied to any other wires.

Yep easy peasy, its just a waterblock with 3 metal tabs on which slot over the ram, don't even need to screw it in.

thats cool - i really like the look of it, is there room to fit two of them side by side (all 4 slots of my RAM are filled)

also mate, can the barbs be swapped, looks like your running 10/8mm tubing where as im running 1/2"?

For the cables all you need is a cable tidy kit, they are infact not easy to get hold of in decent colours anymore, but if you can get hold of one you can put the mesh over all of the cables and it makes it look a lot neater.

Nice setup, personally I think the E6800 is a bit of overkill, but then I don't have bags of money to give to shops
