I use a peice of paper, its great you can note stuff down on it for reference, although I only really use it as the grain on my desk confuses my mouse
Steelpad QcK Pro at the mo
got a BFG ratpadz gs, everglide titan and a Icemat V1
actually i forgot to mentin that my icemat v2 actually sits on top of a steelpad because otherwise it slips on my desk
I use a very old cloth covered sun mousemat, it ain't broke, so I'm not going to fix it.
I used to use an icemat 2.0 and it was pretty cool. The problem though is that any bit of dirt or dried swat on the mat scratch the base of the mouse.
I`m currently using a QPAD gamer mouse mat. Its huge made of cloth and makes gaming so much better
I use a Razer gaming mat or whatever it's called. On the strength of this I bought my dad an Icemat...I also recommend anyone I know to buy one as they make such a difference...more so than buying a better mouse.
original blue and orange func 1030 with g7
a nice piece of paper
Raptor Gaming Pad and Logitech G5 = Me happy, I was going to get an Icemat but at the time of purchase I was informed that the laser in my mouse wouldn't like it
I use my sprayed MX100 on a cutting mat. Its the perfect solution! My one is 22*30cm for about £3-4 from hobbycraft! Perfect performance and can be put on solid items that have stupid surfaces like a dvd case and then used on a soft chair arm (personal experience at small lanparty).
Edit: forgot to mention it is bright blue and on it, there is a yellow measuring grid that is in cm. Very handy when in need of a ruler but cannot be bothered to get or find a proper one!
I use the mouse pad that came with my copy of the original Max Payne back in 2002. It's pretty encrusted with dried salt, but hey it works.
Use a Ratpadz here with a MX 1000
