    New testing setup

Hi all... i just invested in a great value test setup... read on

The rig I have put together is

    P4 1.8 Northwood
    Jetway P4X400 Mobo
    512Mb Twinmoss DDR2100
    Dell 160W Micro PSU
    Basic GF2 GPU
    6GB Seagate HD
Basic CD Drive and Network Card

Anyway... the best bit is the price I paid....

    P4 1.8 - £7.50 + Postage (Ebay - 3 pins missing, but works fine)
Jetway Mobo - £20 (Ocuk Market - As new only 1 month old)
512Mb Twinmoss RAM £14 (Ebay - Described as dud in windows - Give it 2.8v and it seems perfectly fine )
Dell PSU £0.99 + £5 postage (Ebay - Unknown condition - works perfectly)
    GF2 £6 (Computer fair - perfect condition)
    HD+CD+Network card - £10 (work cast offs)

So total cost under £65 woohoooo

To keep this a test setup I have even built a test stand... pics follow.

Taking orders for the test bed stand .... Let me know what u think

lol, nice bargain hunting there ! it's nice that you've spent a good percentage of your budget on a coolermaster aluminium cd bezel !! unless you got that on the cheap too ? £65 for a more than aqequate pc for most tasks

ideal as a firewall PC..........can use it to death.

OR.....case it in SPRAY FOAM, like a giant sheep

Get it all together, put some toilet rolls in for air ducting...

then get the stuffbuilders use EXPANDABLE FOAM....and make it look cool!

then whiel its being "foamed up" get a handle made and include it in the top.

Make sure the posts are all visible....

    job done....a SHEEP/CLOUD PC!!

It's unlikely, some pins are more important than others.
