It's ugly but if it performs well, I couldn't care if they made it in neon pink with fluffy dice hanging off it.
Ok ..maybe not the dice as they would get in the way.
Its got a black pcb so its the same as the current lanpartys - the blueness is just the glow of a uv light which is being used because of the uv ram/ pci slots.

Looks pretty much the same as most LANPARTY boards to me. Black PCB and bright UV reactive ports. Will look great under UV.
/me likes DFI (though my AW9D is pretty hot)
Yep, looks pretty standard lan party stuff. still using the god awful karajan audio is about right for dfi. Lets hope it performs well or dfi are stuck with nowt
The sata ports are the second set, if yopu're managed to fill the first four, then pretty cabling is out of the window anyway. Still an odd spot.
The odd glow is just UV. Looks fine to me, passive too. Could easily fit a larger sink in there too.
All anyone will really care about is the numbers anyway
Any ideas on the price this puppy will launch at?
If you have to ask you cant afford it
im guessing at 200 quid, dfi are notoriously expensive.
Appearance is the last thing on my mind when shopping for a motherboard.
My main concern would be driver support over the long term.
it looks great to me. Good layout as well, plenty of pci slots. the power sockets etc are a good position too
I like it
Unique
I like the PCI-E slot layout, would have been a better layout for my 3 PCI-E cards then the way I have them fitted on the P5W64......although I like the 975 board for its OSX compatability
