New laptop

Hi, I'm thinking of getting a latptop to replace the desktop PC I have. There are a few requisites for the laptop, and was wondering if anyone had any opinions or suggestions....
Must be able to run Half-Life 2 and Vista (preferably with Aero interface).
Hard drive size isn't really an issue for me.
I don't know whether to go for a 15" or 17" screen. Any thoughts on that one?
Budget wise around the £800 mark but the cheaper the better

the xps that start at 850 are not good for games at all. for 800 quid i would expect more than onboard gfx and 512 ram.

i would be looking at all brands to see what you can get, hagve you thought about refurb there are some great deals to be had

The XPS is a little too expensive for me, when you add the bits and pieces on like the graphics card and 1gb or RAM. It ends up being around £1000.
