    Exclamation Need help computer wont recognise any of my cds

    Hi

    i am about to format my computer so iam backing up different stuff on cds but when i put the cd in and copy the files it doesnt let me write anything on the cd it sais please put a cd in the cd drive could you tell me whats wrong? because i have to format soon

    what software are you using to copy with if its windows drag and drop crap use something else that always says full to me

    if you are using other software do the simple things like check none of the cables have worked loose check one of your cds on a friends pc to make sure you don't have dodgy batch

    i had 50 packard bell cdr's from pc world once and none would accept data

    it happens with all cds even with games i have to search in the cd itself so i can start the game

    are you sure you actually have a cd writer? and are using unused CD-R's or CD-RW's? your second post makes no sence when put with your first.

    if your formatting cause its screwed up this all makes a lot of sence
