    Memory speed&compatibility

Hi I have a pc2700 (ddr333) 512 stick and I am thinking about upgrading. The latency of my memory as reported by cpu-Z is 2.5-3-3-7. If I buy a stick at 3-3-3-8 will they be compatible? If yes, will there be a significant loss in performance compared to buying CL2.5 memory?

    Cheers

Most of Scan's Value Select range is CAS2.5 anyway so you'd be getting the best of both worlds.
