Same price, (give or take £20).
What do you think? I know bench'es are not out yet but im looking to power a 1920X1200 resolution for games like bf2142 on max.
Which would give me better performance?

I would go for single card, but thats me. Too much hassle with support for dual cards and no twice the perforamnce really puts me off... But at high resolutions the X1950 pro CFd would work wonders.

Je agree with Goku
1 x card = far less hassle. Seeing as the X1950Pro is just a stripped down version of the X1950....
The X1950XTX will rock at 1920 x 1200
I just got an x1950xtx and at 1600*1200 it's superb, I can run fear fully cranked up and it's stunning
unfortunately my dell 2407wfp was broken on delivery so i've yet to try it at 1920*1200 but as a single card it is stunning.
Thanks for your advice, im going to go read the hexus review now
I was thinking as i heard ati were using thier old cards as phisics cards, that mabey i could use the x1950xt and then get a dx10 card.
(prehaps they would implement this in a future driver, i know they are advertising it with new 3 pcie motherboards.)
Its just, I carnt wait till ati dx10 card relasedbeen waiting to long) plus they said feb or later
Single card.
Ty all i decided on the x1950xt.
EDIT: Which make? i plan to buy from scan, so sapphire or connect 3d? I dont want rubish game unlocks etc.
But are the two cards performance wise, the same?
samey same.. depends on what you're looking for in the bundle really.. Connect3D is probably the economical way out..
Me want Ultrabook
Sapphire apperently charge you for warranty returns... ;/
I think i will go with connect 3d, i will just peel thier stickers off anyway. Id buy an ati version if i could (which sapphire makes :/ ) silly computer industry.
Powercolor are decent, cheap and reliable
afaik ati physics will require a dx10 card
The last I read, it required a X1600 or greater card IIRC.....so not dx10.

Ok re-decided Going with ONE His 256mb x1950 pro for £160ish
Im just gunna grab an dx10 ati card along with vista. Hopefully, though the magic of the catalyst control centre, My good faith in ati will pull though and i can use my current (p5w dh) motherboard for one phisics (x1950 pro) and one graphics (x2000?)
IMO it's not worth paying 30 quid extra for a HIS version - the default cooler is quiet enough.
For that 30 quid you might be able to get the 1950xt, a faster card.
jus took the plunge and grabbed a x1950xtx myself (sapphire). im intending on skipping the 1st wave of dx10 cards anyway, and i wont bother with vista until Q3 2007 earliest.
whats this about using old ati cards as physics boards? do you have any links plz?
