logitech mx500. i got one and they are really good. £30 at argos at the mo. mite b able to get slightly cheaper if u shop around...

ms explorer v3 seconded i have the version1, which has bigger buttons which is nice for my fat fingers, but it has the problem where it doesnt scan the desk enough times per second so it can be stupid if you move it too fast... but the v3 is fine, just the side buttons are smaller

Mx500 here but the debate could go on forever between those 2 mice, either will be excellent (just the dodgytech will be better ).

mx700 really is the dogs doodads, they've tweaked it all like crazy and it's *very* responsive

LOL. Okay any info on how far away these devices can operate? Ideally from actual experience rather than manu's estimates.
I've had my mx700 go for about 8 metres through a solid wall..
