    Overclocking 2 Intel Xeons!!

    Hi,

I have 2x 3.4GHz Xeon Irwindales running on stock coolers
and was just wondering whether anyone has had any experience overclocking these and what a safe and sensible overclock would be

i would consider getting some high preformance coolers for an amazing overlock

The rest of my spec is below!

    Thanks

    Dave!

People don't normally (ever?) overclock xeons...for 2 reasons.

    1) The CPUs and motherboards are pricey and not too common

    2) The motherboards for them do not normally come with overclocking options

A core 2 is on the cards!
but ive got to sell everything to buy it!
the only thing i would be able to keep is the HDD + case n optical drives
    DDR ram need DDR2
    AGP graphics need PCI-E
    New motherboard

ive got my eye on the E6700

but tempted to wait for G80 cards to come out with DX10 b4 upgrade
and then theres Quad core to consider! *sigh* so many desicions!
