Still haven't got around to ordering my one, but I'll go for one of these: http://kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_2848.html
Pretty much the daddy of all controllers. Have been advised that the LEDS are pretty bright tho.
another vote for the sunbeam, and definately the leds need modding in some way or they will blind you to death
"I've heard there is a common problem with this item from forums" - If you read some forums they believe Elvis was abducted by aliens, doesn't mean it's true.
Many thanks to all of your recomendations, I really like the sunbeam, but it has to be the free postage on the akasa and the lack of led modding I would have to do on the Snr that has me interested. Like the thermal sensor - nice touch with the panels.
Thanks all
I have to admit i like the aerogate III fan controller - pretty flush and no knobs.
But harder to use that a simple vantec NXP205 or 201. The akasa FC-03 is a nice one too 5V to 12V rather than the vantec's 7-12V.
IMO the less the leds on a fan controller the better.
Akasa junior, simple and works well.
Run both the akasa FC-03/junior the junior is great little controller, nice compact and wiring can be kept quite tidy, got mine for £8 on TO
