I've finally got the PC as silent as itll go (fanwise) and the only thing that is now audible to me is the Raptor.
At the moment, the Raptor is sat in the hard drive cage and is held in place by 4 thumbscrews. The cage is aluminium and it seems to make the drive louder. Suspending it on elastic might work, but i wont be able to get any cooling to it if i do that, so i think an enclosure that deadens the sound and cools the drive is what i need. Ive been looking and theres shedloads, so i need some feedback from people that actually own one that they can recommend.
It can take up a 5.25 bay, or possibly 2 and i could stick the other 2 drives in there. Oh and if it is going in a 5.25 bay and is visible from outside, it needs to be silver aluminium in colour.
any suggestions?

Mate uses them and swears by them. They are supposed the cool the drive too, works pretty well with a fan. Basically acting as a wrap around heatsink. I doubt you'll have any problems with just one drive. If you stacked a load maybe with no airflow.
