I've just bought two new drives to replace my aging maxtor drives which are striped together to form and RAID with nVidia's nVRAID on my motherboard. Does anyone know if it's possible to plug in the two new drives to the spare SATA connectors on my motherboard (system 001 in sig) and create a new, seperate RAID set? Obviously if I could do this I could image the old RAID set over the new which would be great!
So, to be clear, four SATA connectors on motherboard belong to the NVRAID controller - 2 are in use currently in a striped RAID set and I want to add two new drives and create a brand new RAID set simultaneously..
BTW sorry Scan but I bought the new drives from tekheads because I needed them friday (I feel dirty)![]()

Cool! That should save me a lot of time - i'll just use TrueImage to push the data across - somewhat better than the USB drive route
