    Nah I'd go for the xtrememusic one. I did not long ago. Excellent card.

    is that just the basica one thats like 50 quid now? im tempted but i only use headphones,???
    i just saw these new ones and thought that they looked a bit poo, with the silver instead of the gold and all. any prices about?

    I use my Zalman headphones almost constantly, dont see what difference it makes tbh. no idea on the prices of the new ones, cant see them being much less than the bare xtrememusic one.

    hehe i use those zalman 6.1 headphones, i assume they are the ones your on about, good aernt they i may purchase a x-fi then

    Normal users don't utilise all the technology it offers, like I saw little difference compared to my old Audigy ZS, with too many features turned on and it becomes simulated sound, not something real.

    But it largely depends on your speakers as well, no points coupling a £60 soundcard with 10 quid 2.0 PC speakers.

    So features wise the XtremeGamer is exactly the same as the XtremeMusic but when it comes to 'connectivity options' we have differences:
