Another Conroe spec - please check it out for me!

I've been working out what to buy to put together a Conroe system for a little while now, the advice in these forums has been really helpful, so many thanks to you all!

I've now pretty much decided what to buy, I just wondered if one or two of you could cast an eye over it and tell me if there's anything you think I should reconsider, or if there's anything essential I've forgotten (as this is a build from scratch - the only things I'm keeping from my old rig are the DVD writer, monitor and keyboard)

    CPU - Conroe E6600
    RAM - Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5 TwinX (2x1GB)
    Mobo - Asus P5B-Deluxe
    GFX - Sapphire X1950 Pro
    Case - Akasa Mirage 62
    PSU - Seasonic S12 600W
    HD - 2 x Samsung SpinPoint 400GB SATA-II 8MB
    Fans - 2 x Akasa Amber 120mm
Cooler - Arctic Cooling Freezer 7
    Mouse - Logitech MX400

Stability, ease of build, noise level and the lifetime of the system are major factors for me, rather than just raw speed. I'll probably overclock it a bit, but not a vast amount. I use my rig for about 30% gaming, and 70% other stuff (often CPU intensive apps) hence why I don't want to shell out too much on the graphics card, especially with DX10 around the corner. I have a budget of around a grand for this build, which I've already slightly exceeded.

So, any thoughts? I've heard rumours of issues with both the mobo and the PSU I've picked, but other people seem to highly recommend them, are they good choices? Any other suggestions as to ways I can improve this rig, or make it cheaper without sacrificing much in the way of performance?

personally I dont like Akasa cases
And id go for Seagate drives over Samsung if you want reliability, or western digital if you want speed. but apart from that I nod my head

Seems good to me, nothing wrong with samsung drives as far as i know, good quiet drives. The case is a personal choice, i'm more a fan of silverstone or akasa cases

Just got my akasa Mirage 62 the other day; can't really fault it apart from that theres no gap between door and case when closed so if you want a fan controller with knobs on your going to have to push it back into the case a little.

Nice spec overall though - enjoy.

Aparently, the newest models of the Seasonic are fixed, but the old ones have the problem, you need to check with your supplier about that before you order. Everything else looks spot on to me
