What to buy?

Im stumped on what to go for with my new rig, So far I know im gonna get a E6600 CPU, 2gb DDR 800 Memory and stick my 7600GT in there in the meantime untill DX10 cards are out.
Its the mobo and case thats got me, I want the system to be as small and light as possible but that and power doenst seem to go together.
Was going to go the Shuttle route but the SD32G2 is limited to 2GB ram (gonna go to 4gb for Vista) and single slot cards.
SO started to look at MATX but can only see 2 mobos, a Gigabyte which by all reports sucks, and a Intel mobo which doenst look to have any OC options
So stumped, dont really want to go ATX but doenst look like theres a choice?

Very little choice with the P965 chipset

Ah you didn't specify you wanted that chipset, I thought you just wanted one that works with core 2 duo/quad.
