    busted motherboard

I'v had enough pain and misery with my Asus A7N8X deluxe, its been malfunctioning for sometime now and I'm pretty sure it's developed the same problems the one i had sent back a while ago got...So now I'm looking for a new motherboard of similar ability - different make though.
I need onboard sound but not bothered whether graphics are or not...LAN USB etc are needed too.
I've seen a few possibities: Abit NF7 series, MSI and Epox ones too..

some advice would be great, I'm not happy with my asus, been trouble from day one to be honest and dealer is being a ******d and not honouring the 'within a year' policy...

You can't go wrong with the Abit Nf7-S it's a quality product. I highly reccomend it.

have used about 6 "performance" motherboards this year (for one reason or another, either in my own system or builds for mates) & i can't fault the abit NF7-S which i'm currently using particularly if you're planning on overclocking, the NF7-S is ideal

what was the problem with your a7n8x? a mate of mine had one which was nothing but trouble too - had a few problems getting it to POST, and had no end of issues with the onboard sound when it would start
if it ain't broke...fix it till it is

Having owned an NF7s and still using an A7N8X I'ed buy the abit board over the asus deluxe even if they were the same price unless you desperately need dual lan.
