Anyone Know if a Seasonic S12 - 430 will fit in an Antec P180, and if it'll be sufficient power for:
AMD Athlon64 3000+ Venice Core
Geforce 6600 GT PCI-E 128mb
1GB (2xCMX-512-3200C2) RAM
2xSamsung SpinPoints (120GB and 200GB) HDDs
Abit AN-8 Ultra
Lite-On DVD-RW
And assorted fans, lights etc

There were issues with earlier S12 PSUs but the newer ones have longer (and sleeved) cables and there shouldn't be a problem.
More than enough power in the 430 for that rig.
If you get caught short, then the Silverstone ATX extension kit is very good value and quality

I had to get one for a mATX build.
I'd advise you to get the kit (if you can) as the 12V power is needed if you want nice clean cable management IMO.Quote:

You will almost certainly need an extension on the 4-pin ATX lead, mind, can pick them up for a couple of quid so no worries there. Cooling is superb, just also consider where mounting your HDD(s), especially if using a modulare PSU ;)
