Core 2 Duo base systems - computer buyer

    http://www.pcpro.co.uk/buyer/labs/18.../products.html

The prices of some of these seem massively less than the components! I'd normally build my own, but at £599 it might just make sense to strip one of these down. Look at that Zoostorm spec! E6600 and 2gb ram!

But is it worth it to have the Customer services problems associated with Mesh and PCnextday etc? Any of these offer really good service that you know of?

I ordered the Elite E6400 CB the week after the article....delivered on the day promised by Mesh, no customer service problems for me...in fact they were a delight to deal with. It's my first ever order with Mesh. My lad is very happy with the PC....in his words "it rocks".

You could always try putting a few beermats under one corner.
