    My Toshiba Satellite A65 - S126

was off when I got home even though I left it on. It wouldnt power on and it was flashing low battery on the outside LEDs. apparently there is no power going into the laptop and I tested the power adapter, and it works on other laptops. i sniffed the power entry jack on the laptop and it smells like burnt circuitry.

is it a power pack problem, mobo burned out, fixable or buy new laptop? Ive only had this baby for two years. help.

If the battery is low it wounds like the charging circuit is dead, how replaceable it is I don't know. try notebookforums.com [or a variation of that] which should have a Toshiba specific forum where people will probably know whether its fixable.
