DVD Player Not recognising Discs (Ram)

Hi i have a Panasnc x1 DvD Ram burner on my old PC that ive been using toburn my Video/Pic/Data files from old PC to put on my new PC, the discs being used are also Panasonic DvD Ram. Now the prob i am now having is my new PC (Nec ND3500ag )will not recognise the Ram discs when last week they did All i can think of is windows must have updated a driver to change it! I have cleaned the discs but it is not dirt! I also have since noticed the Nec's DvD Region is not set to UK but i would not of thought it would of mattered..Would it? Also i am sure the Nec player has changed in the hardwear properties because in my last pc i was sure it was a ND3500a ...Strange!!

some times dvd players dont like ram discs. try burning at a lower speed try 1x first

Thanks! It is only x1 speed, One of the 1st Burners sadly cost me a fortune nearly 5 yrs ago!!

whoops my bad i misread but run nero drive check to see if there is up with the drive
