I am using the ninja with a 12cm fan. The temps I quoted were actually wrong, I have downloaded Intel TAT which reads the temps straight from the internal diode, and running Prime 95 and Superpi 32M together, the highest I hit is 51 degrees even though I have upped the vcore to 1.3 and running at 3.4Ghz.

The case is a generic black thing.........

Voodle....what are u using to measure temps? I think a lot of progs read Core2Duo temps wrong....

Ah, it's the Ninja Plus. Did you have any problems fitting it to the mobo or are they a good match?

At first i thought it was going to be impossible, then i realised i cuould turn bolts into the locking positionwith a screwdriver becaiuse it has channels from top to bottom that allow this - so it was really easy.

I'll try it passive and see what happens to temps.

Be careful and make sure you set an auto shutdown temperature, it'll likely hit circa 80 degrees on that overclock
