    3.0C on 1800rpms AIR :)

    bought a 3.0C a few weeks back, only had a chance to try it out today:

    using a 3.0C 1.625 (says 1.6in sandra)
    Abit IC7 Max 3
    2 x 256 3200 Geil (which suck )
    Zalman AU Cooler with controller @ 1800rpms
    No case fans
    decided on the 5:4 @ 250
    slapped it on and this is the result

    will be priming and 3dmark runs later on!

    42 idle and 48 load

    the extra £££ over cheaper cpu, nm i misread the speed thought it said 3259 :O

    Good point. I see a lot of these P4's clocked up, and yeah its faster but how much extra did the user really spend for something thats more of an ego boost...unless your a graphics designer or something intensive.
